Annals of Internal Medicine: Clinical Cases is a new peer-reviewed open access journal published in partnership between the American College of Physicians and the American Heart Association. The primary missions of the journal are to contribute to the scientific body of knowledge and provide an accessible educational resource for the research and clinical communities by publishing case reports, case series, and medical images in all areas of general and internal medicine. Many of the AHA Journals can refer case reports to Annals of Internal Medicine: Clinical Cases for easy transfer; authors can also submit a manuscript directly to the journal.
As an open access journal, all articles published in AIM: Clinical Cases are free to read after an author payment of an article-processing charge, which is discounted for members of the American Heart Association or American College of Physicians.
