Subscriber Help

Access to AHA scientific journals is available to institutions and individuals through AHA membership and non-member subscriptions. The following information is meant for current subscribers. Click here for information on free non-subscriber services.

Activating Your Institutional Subscription

To gain administrative access to AHA Journals, you must first register for an account through the American Heart Association by contacting the Ovid Technologies Team. You can do this with the “Sign In” button on the top right-hand corner of this page or through the professional Heart Daily website. The Ovid Team will contact you with an activation link. Use the activation link to create a username, password, and answer the security questions to establish your account.

Once you’ve registered for your username and password, you’ll need to return to your activation email and click the verification link. If you have not received a verification link, please contact AHA Journals customer service. Through clicking this activation link, you will be asked to sign into your account using your credentials. You should now see a welcome your message.
