The journals of the American Heart Association are proud to be part of the Health InterNetwork Access to Research Initiative (HINARI) program, which was established by the World Health Organization with major publishers. The program provides developing countries with free access to one of the largest collections of biomedical and health literature. More than 3,750 journals are available to health institutions in approximately 113 countries. Thousands of researchers and health workers can now contribute to improved world health.
For more information about the HINARI program, visit its Web site (https://portal.research4life.org/). You will find extensive resources about the program, a list of all of the journal titles participating in the program, and periodic updates about the program itself. You can also sign up for an e-newsletter.
The journals of the American Heart Association our proud of their international partners who work to identify and distribute content previously published in its journals for distribution to local researchers and clinicians. Selecting the content for these editions is a key role of the international editorial boards. When content is translated, the boards review and approve the translation to ensure its accuracy. These translations are made available as supplemental material to the original English version here on AHAJournals.org.
